Escape from Playtime Price
The game is not free. On October 23, 2026 the US Steam page showed $9.99, discounted to $8.99, with “Offer ends November 4.”
I read the US, Brazil, Spain, and Russia store responses on the same day. The discount exists in each region, and the base game is still a purchase.
The checkout
The US price is $9.99 list and $8.99 during the introductory offer. Steam’s own line says the offer ends November 4. The Early Access FAQ says the price is planned to rise at 1.0.
Regional snapshots rechecked on October 23: Brazil R$29.99 to R$26.99, Spain €9.99 to €8.99, Russia ₽445 to ₽400.50. Taxes and later price changes are not included.
The Founders Pack is a free add-on for 30 days after Early Access launched. It does not make the base game free.
