Founders Pack: Free DLC, Paid Game
Steam app 5401680 is a free add-on you claim in the 30 days after Early Access opened. The $8.99 game is separate.
I read the Founders Pack store page and the launch announcement. Both describe cosmetics, and neither waives the base-game price.
What is inside
The pack includes the Shining Critters cosmetic set, a retro Smiling Critters arcade cabinet for the Perm-A-Lounge, and a Miss Delight player emote.
The launch post says KickinChicken, Bubba Bubbaphant, PickyPiggy, and CraftyCorn still have to be unlocked through play before their shiny variants apply. The DLC does not skip that progress.
The free window is “30 days after Early Access launch.” The store page did not show an exact expiry clock on October 23. After the window, treat the pack as a historical offer unless Steam still lists it as free.
