The Escape from Playtime Beta Is Over

The open beta is finished. Playing now means buying the Early Access build on Steam, not requesting another test key.

I used the October 1 playtest FAQ and the playtest store URL. The FAQ gives the window, and the old app URL now points at the paid game.

The window that already closed

The playtest FAQ says the test ran from October 1, 2026 at 10:00 PDT until October 4, 2026 at 18:00 PDT. Access codes expired on that end date.

It was a separate Steam app, 5309180. That URL now redirects to app 2087540. A missing library entry for the playtest is the expected result, not a failed purchase of the Early Access game.

How to play now

Install Steam on Windows 10 or 11, buy app 2087540, and launch it from the library. There is no new application form on this site. Mob’s FirstLook page is a signup for future tests, not a live beta.

Questions

Why is the beta not in my library?

The playtest was app 5309180. That listing now redirects to the paid game, so the test build is gone.

Will there be another test?

Mob still runs a FirstLook signup. That is not a promise of a new open beta, and it does not unlock the current game.
