Is Escape from Playtime Good?

I recorded the Steam percentage with the date because Early Access scores move. Game8’s October 23 review had no numeric score.

IGN’s October 1 preview called the toy-sized co-op loop its own idea and noted bugs. Game8’s Early Access review praised atmosphere and criticized repeated maps, slow progress, and item balance. A Reddit thread titled “Escape from Playtime is NOT Free” was arguing about the $10 price, which is a pricing complaint, not a quality score.
